Can clients access services without consultation?
Yes, just attend a meeting, whether in-person or online.
Do I need to commit to a long-term programme?
No, you can attend as little or as often as possible but we strongly advise attending regularly - we've found that consistent support really helps to maintain sobriety.
Is there a cost for accessing the services?
None at all, however at in-person meetings a donation box will be passed around for anyone who wishes to contribute a very small amount towards the hire of the venue and resources,
What qualifications do your meeting leaders have?
We are a peer lead group which means that we come from a place of experience both with long term sobriety and from a mental health perspective.
Are there specific topics covered in the group?
Each meeting will have a different topic of discussion related to sobriety, however there will be opportunity to share anything you wish to.
How can I access online resources?
Details of our zoom meetings will be displayed here.
Where are your group meetings held?
Our meetings are held at Shirebrook Leisure Centre and we also offer online options for convenience.
Can I get a personalised sobriety plan?
Yes, we offer tailored sobriety plans to meet individual needs and recovery goals with the help of an assigned 'buddy'.
